Jalles Machado, located in Goianésia, GO, constantly invests in the latest technology and equipment. Their production of ethanol, ITAJÁ crystal and organic sugar, personal hygiene and cleaning products, electricity, latex and selling of carbon credits grows year after year.Founded by Goias ex-governor Otávio Lage de Siqueira in 1980, Jalles Machado has obtained various awards and certifications which illustrate the quality of their products. It is gaining recognition for joining economic development with social-environmental responsibility. The company has been awarded certificates for ISO 14001 and 9001, Abrinq Foundation (Save the Children), DNV – Carbon Credits, GMA Safe, EcoSocial, JAS, Kosher, USDA and IBD – Organic Production. The combination of these certificates allows the export of ITAJÁ Sugar to the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan and the Jewish Community.
